A new face of London

Shoot, after a long time. I pretend to do nothing and explanations of silence elapsed ...

In early October I was in London. The umpteenth time, it is true, but this time I never saw another London.

First I state that I did not have nightlife. I needed to rest, serene distraction. An old
? Maybe, but mennefotto.

My uncle had died the day before my departure, after a few days without ever regaining consciousness.
I've never seen these days, and left during his funeral. A
drain, basically.
Feelings of guilt mingled with a strange feeling of emptiness that death digs in to an absolutely detached from the divine and the supernatural as they are.
I am convinced that death is a problem for those who remain, as one who goes for nothing and nothing will remain: with these beliefs, the end of it all frightens you and when you first pour is always hard to pretend nothing has happened.

This premise explains the need to pull the plug.
The hatred I have of Dante's confusion clubbers and the need to think that I personally have to overcome the difficult times (and not to think, like most people) says the "waste" of nightlife and hiking in the refuge in parks and chatting before the fire in the evening and five o'clock tea (traditions and safe limits).

picking up the thread, I saw another London. A London Sun (it seems absurd, but no joke), serene, no racing, no crowds and no traffic.
The advice from anyone, especially at this time because the pound to 1.1 euro is an opportunity to see London without the "impoverished" and also buy some nice things (in the shops of clothes, especially price, with this value of the pound are significantly lower than in the rest of Europe, just go shopping with a circulation in the EU - such as GAP - that show the cards with double the price and get two quick calculations to figure out the difference).

course, I'm lucky to have a friend who lives in a fantasy land and outside the normal "circuits", and which on other occasions I would have never known.
lives in Belsize Park, an area on the edge of Zone 2, nestled between two parks: Pimrose Hill / Regent 's Park and Hampstead Heath.

In the district there are mostly low houses, with apartments with large bow windows overlooking the street.

Behind my friend's house there is "villages" of Belsize (Belsize Terrace), with its shops fit for man, with young couples who stroll quietly or pushing prams.
corner is the shop specialties, where you can buy fantastic bagels (taken home, heated, coated with Philadelphia and covered with smoked salmon brunch are fantastic and are a typically New York).

short, a fairy place.

The first day the weather welcomed us well and allowed us to make a nice around Pimrose Hill, with its views over London and its squirrels and its fields full of children playing soccer.

In the afternoon, however, walk to the center, between Leicester Square and Covent Garden and then turn to Hamleys, in Regent Street.
Five floors of toys for children to return (see here and here ).

the evening relax and chat over a nice glass of wine (and brandy after) before the fire, updates between good friends on their lives.

The day after a good night's sleep, walk along the canal to the market Camden Town. Built in the old stables, for years special niche market for the more "strange", now actually has lost a great part of its charm to become the trendy place is always full of people.
After the fire a couple of years ago (see here and here) also, the place has lost some of its identity, while remaining a great place to stroll, to see the shops, to taste food of all over the world, tasting the various stalls that is offered to attract the attention of passersby.
If we want to see a really strange place, then just go to Cyberdog, a business of people really out of this world!

Moreover, the place is nice to see even if it were completely empty. It 's a old village sits on the banks of the canal with its locks that allow you to navigate the site, with its bridges that make it very "Nordic".

In the afternoon we were perfect English. After a rest after lunch (lunch sfrittellate with eggs, bacon, baked beans and buttered bread), walk in the park and then in Hampstead Heath district, by Louis Pastisserie , with afternoon tea and slice of cake unimaginable here in Italy, served on a large cart and you only make you hungry to see them.

the evening beer and live rock music before dinner and then back to chatting with Doors and Led Zeppellin and Cure and Deep Purple and fire and alcohol.

Last day visit to the castle before leaving, but it really was the "least" of my visit.

I would tell more, most of all I would like to tell better, but time is finished, the area also, the desire as well. Stop
